Midwest POAC Super Sire Weanling Futurity Rules 2009

 
 

1. Stallions must be nominated by Nov. 1 st of the breeding year for a fee of $150.

2. All mares bred to a nominated stallion are eligible to be nominated to the Futurity. Mares must be nominated by Feb. 1 st of the foaling year.

3. Only foals sired by nominated stallions are eligible to show. All entries must be registered POAs. A copy of the Reg. papers shall be mailed with the final payment or delivered to the Futurity Chair at the prior to the start of the Futurity shows.

4. All entries must pay the appropriate stall and show fees.

5. Payment schedule is as follows:

A. Mare Nomination due Feb. 1, $20.

B. Sustaining Fee due July 1, $20.

C. Entry Fee due Sept. 1, $10.

6. All late fees shall be triple the amount. Late stallion nominations may be made until Feb. 1 for $250. No late Stallion Noms. will be allowed after. Feb. 1.

7. All stallion and mare nominations will be split 50/50 between colts and fillies. All sustaining and entry fees will be applied to the appropriate class. Up to 10% of the total purse may be held for awards and advertising.

8. Stallions siring the Champion Colt and Filly will each be paid $150 to the stallion’s nominator. This money will come from the Stallion Noms.

9. Payback will be made to 8 places, if entries allow, to be paid as follows: 25, 20, 17, 13, 10, 7, 5, and 3%.

10. Monies for the ID class will come from mare nominations, sustaining, and entry fees from those entries actually showing in the class. Payback will be made to 4 places as follows: 40, 30, 20, and 10%, if entries allow. No Stallion Nomination money will be paid to the ID Weanlings and no awards will be given.
